Plant Pass positive for Waihi Native Plants

Plant Pass Partner and major plant buyer and planter Waikato Regional Council recently shared an updated about registered Plant Pass producer Waihi Native Plants, one of the nine Waikato nurseries currently working toward full Plant Pass certification.

Waihi Native Plants operations manager Warren Coffey says that since committing to stronger plant health and biosecurity practices through the Plant Pass scheme, the small nursery is not only looking and operating smarter, but staff are taking more pride in their work.

“It really makes you think about the things you need to be thinking about – and it’s what we should be doing!”
