New Zealand Golf Industry Council joins Plant Pass Partner network
Plant Pass is delighted to welcome the New Zealand Golf Industry Council (NZGIC) as our latest Plant Pass Partner.
Representing 130 of the 392 golf clubs in New Zealand, NZGIC has an extensive network and a strong interest in protecting and enhancing the environments in which golf operates. This provides a natural connection with Plant Pass and an opportunity to build awareness of biosecurity risk, encourage good practice, and promote the value of purchasing from Plant Pass-certified nurseries.
NZGIC Chair, Des Topp, says: "We are in a good position to promote Plant Pass and its biosecurity risk management benefits to our membership. Plants are an integral part of New Zealand’s world-class golf courses, and protecting them from biosecurity threats is an important part of caring for these environments.""
Plant Pass Partner, Auckland Council, is also a member of NZGIC, providing another valuable connection between the Plant Pass Partner network and the golf community.
